We believe the magic is in the archer, not the arrow — the carpenter, not the hammer. Gear is just a tool, and a good sound comes from the artist wielding it, not the price tag. Our job is to be a partner in bringing your ideas to life, and to have the right tools on hand when you reach for them.
To that end, we keep an extensive, well-maintained selection of microphones and gear — from workhorses to character pieces, clean preamps and classic-style outboard gear, and a 32 channel interface so a full band can track live with room to spare. We’re always adding to it, too, and always looking for recommendations to fill any gap we find in what we can do for you.
Bring your own gear, or use ours — whatever gets you to the sound you’re hearing. And some of the most distinctive tools here we built ourselves: custom speaker panels, custom-tuned reverbs, and a growing line of 1860 Custom guitars.
The selection is always changing, so we keep a running inventory and are happy to provide an updated list on request. After something specific? Just ask.
