Recording
The goal is simple: to help you capture the sound you’re already hearing in your head. That comes from years spent learning the classic recording techniques and methods that made records sound the way they do — and training an ear to hear why they work — paired with a modern, efficient digital workflow. Full-band or solo, first demo or finished record, you get a live room and control room built around how sound actually moves, and the time and space to get the take right. Come track for an afternoon or settle in for a whole project.
Whenever we can, we capture the real thing — real rooms, real instruments, real performances — because that’s what makes a record sound like someone made it, not something a machine assembled.
Session Drums
No drummer? No problem. As a drummer first and an engineer second, I lay down real, authentic drum tracks for your song — played, not programmed. Send me your track and what you’re going for, and get back live drums with the feel and dynamics a machine can’t fake. Perfect for solo artists, producers, and songwriters who want a human behind the kit.
Mixing & Mastering
Send us your sessions — or hand off the work we tracked together — and we’ll shape it into a finished, release-ready record. Careful, musical mixing and mastering that translates, from the studio monitors to the earbuds. Work with us from anywhere.

Recording & production
Ever record something at home that sounded great in your headphones, then fell apart everywhere else? Or stared at your recording software with no idea why it isn’t clicking? I’ll help you close that gap. One-on-one sessions in the DAW of your choice (I work primarily in Fender Studio Pro but I’m at home in most of them), covering the stuff that actually moves the needle: mic placement and how to capture a clean take, setting levels and gain staging, signal flow, arranging and comping, mixing fundamentals, and the classic analog techniques behind records that still hold up. Whether you’re setting up your first home rig or trying to level up the tracks you already make, we’ll work through it at your pace — no question too basic. Sessions available in person or remotely over video, so we can work together from anywhere.
Drums
I’ve been playing for over 35 years, trained under a professional touring drummer, and I teach students of all levels. Whether you’re just starting out or working on your chops, lessons are tailored to where you are and where you want to go.
Consulting & Support
Gear selection, studio setup, calibration, signal-flow problem-solving — for artists building a home setup and for other studios working through a challenge. If it’s got a signal path, we can help you sort it out.
Repair & Customization
The same hands that record on the gear keep it running. We repair, maintain, and modify instruments and equipment — from a setup and a fresh set of strings to amp and electronics repair, re-wiring, and full custom builds. Guitars, drums, amps, pedals, cables, and outboard: if somebody built it, we can take it apart, fix it, and often make it better than it was. Bring us the thing that’s not working — or the thing you wish worked differently — and we’ll figure it out.
Releasing your record
Made something you’re ready to share? If you don’t already have distribution in place, our in-house label — 1860 Records — offers a straightforward way to get your music onto Spotify, Apple Music, and the rest. No pressure and no exclusivity: it’s simply there as a friendly option for clients who’d rather not sort out publishing on their own.
